Mask Security
In Oracle Insurance Rules Workbench, text field masks are used to control input format—such as character type restrictions, character length enforcement, or data masking for sensitive information. Mask security controls access to these masks at the transaction level and is managed per Security Group.
Mask security levels are defined through values configured in AsCodeMaskSecurityLevel and AsMaskDetail. Adjustments to mask security levels can be made using the AsCode and Mask editors.
Assigning Mask Security
To assign mask security, follow these steps:
-
In the Navigation Explorer (left panel), navigate to Security| Application Security| Security Groups | [Security Group Name].
-
Open the desired Security Group folder, then expand the Transaction Security folder or page containing the target mask.
-
Select the relevant transaction or page name.
-
In the Configuration Area (right panel):
-
Select the appropriate Config Package from the toolbar dropdown.
-
Click Check-Out to enable editing.
-
The transaction or page security file opens in the Configuration Area.
-
-
Scroll to the bottom of the Configuration Panel and expand the Masking section.
-
The Masking section is only visible if a mask has been added to a text field in the transaction or page.
-
-
For each field listed in the Masks section, select the required security level from the Security dropdown.
-
Once all changes are complete, click Check-In to save the updated transaction or page security file.
